Hubbard Residence

ABOUT: Family. This couple wanted more room for their family of 5. In collaboration with Interior Design firm Mover & Shaker Design Co., llc., we worked closely with the Clients to help them move from their 616 SF. farmhouse into the newly designed 1869 SF. The Clients gave us an 1800 SF. maximum but we realized we needed an extra 69 SF. to get things to work. They wanted the simple gable form and that it had to be simple building footprint. The new home included 4 Bedrooms, Living Room, Kitchen, Utility Room, Common Bath, Master Bedroom Suite and Mezzanine. Whew! . . . That is alot to pack in. There is a detached 2-car Garage with workshop as well. The Home is located on a working Nursery farm the couple owns and operates. The covered Entry’s and back patio cover are to be designed and built by a timber frame contractor and was not included in our project scope of work and are generically shown in the images.
